Deleting your Qorebook account
Last updated: 31 August 2026
You can permanently delete your Qorebook account and its associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app
- Open Qorebook (Android app or https://qorebook.com) and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section and choose Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete My Account.
If you are the sole owner of an organization that still has other active members, the app will ask you to transfer ownership or remove those members first, so they do not lose access.
Option 2 — Ask us to delete it
If you cannot sign in, email info@qorebook.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request”. Include the account email and, if you have one, your organization name. We may ask one or two questions to verify your identity before we proceed. We complete verified requests within 30 days and email you when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in credentials and Firebase Authentication record.
- Your profile, organization memberships, and role assignments.
- Pending team invitations addressed to your email.
- Every organization for which you are the only member, together with that organization’s business records — customers, suppliers, employees, products and inventory, invoices, bills, expenses, payments, point-of-sale transactions, journal entries, and the general ledger.
- Records still scoped directly to your user account.
What is kept, and for how long
- Organizations with other members: not deleted. You are removed as a member; the remaining members keep their data.
- Security audit logs: retained in an append-only form for security and legal compliance. They record that an action occurred and by which account ID; they are not used to reconstruct your business data.
- Backups: deletion applies to live data immediately. Encrypted backups age out on a rolling schedule, normally within 90 days.
- Invoices and records you shared with others (for example an invoice you sent to a customer) may persist in that recipient’s own records.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. For questions, see the Privacy Policy or contact info@qorebook.com.
